I’m Autistic - A New Musical
A new British musical written by Leonora Brooks, I’m Autistic - A New Musical aims to create a piece of accurate representation of some aspects of the experiences of autistic young adults.

We follow three autistic characters. Lauren is a university student, who discovers she may be autistic while researching for a project. Nat is unlucky in love until he meets neurotypical Sophie, who is everything he wants in a girl. Chloe is struggling with bullying at school, and a strain on her relationship with her best friend. We meet their families, friends, teachers, partners and more…
The show has been workshopped twice, once in 2023 and once in 2024. In February 2025, we performed a fundraiser concert of music from the show at The Other Palace Studio. In August 2025, the show was performed at Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The show received several 5 star reviews, and many glowing audience reviews.
